Oceanfront Kauai Condo Vacation Rental

The Kuhio Shores Condominium development, a 4 floor, 75 unit complex with a beach on each side, is located on Lawai Road, which ends nearby at the Spouting Horn. It is adjacent to Lawai Beach, the best snorkling beach on the island, and The Beach House, one of the best restaurants. Lawai Road is very quiet, and yet it is only minutes to Poipu Village Shopping, the Sheraton and Hyatt resorts and spas, Poipu Beach and other wonderful beaches, a half dozen other fine restaurants, and the world famous Poipu Bay Golf Course, home of the PGA 'Grand Slam of Golf' Tournament. Old Koloa town, the first plantation town in Hawaii, is less than 10 minutes away.

We first saw this condo during a business/vacation trip in July of 2003. We looked at a number of condos, including another one in Kuhio Shores, and this one was head and shoulders above the rest. The designer interior was great... but the real selling point was the location and the view... as soon as you walk in the door, you'll say "Wow".

We knew immediately that no guest would ever be disappointed with it, that we would always be proud to own it. We also suspected that we would get a lot of repeat guests, and referrals from our guests, so that the occupancy rate would be high. Still, we weren't sure it would be a good investment, but because of our sentimental attachement to Kauai (we were married on
the island in 1996, and have been in love with it ever since), we decided to go ahead, and we closed on the property in October. Since then we've only been able to stay a couple of times, but we're looking forward to spending wonderful vacations here for many years to come.

Roosters crowing at the crack of dawn (and earlier) is a problem on Kaua'i, especially for any "garden view" accommodations. Most condos do not have A/C, so your windows will be open and you will hear the crowing! The combination of our exceptional shoreline location and being on the 4th floor means you WILL NOT be bothered by the roosters!
